Student Misbehaviours Encountered in Private High School Classrooms

The aim of the present study was to identify student misbehaviours in private high schools, and reasons for teachers’ reactions such behaviours. designed as qualitative research. In this case study, participants were 21 teachers working two different branches a school 188 students registered those schools. data collected utilizing semi-structured interview schedules consisting three questions each which directed teachers. analysed using content analysis technique. Student included; noise, student-sourced misbehaviours, aimed at peers determined classified as; student-sourced, family-sourced, peer-sourced, teacher-sourced, education system school-centred reasons. Teachers’ towards warning, shouting, scolding, having one-on-one or whole class conversations with students, explaining consequences if same behaviour is repeated, referring administrators counselling service, informing families. Ensuring that understand how react can make significant contributions their main duty classrooms “realizing learning objectives”. As such, informs about misbehaviour well solutions.
